Before you make a purchase, consider how the 4Cs may influence your choices. The 4Cs are the four factors that determine a diamond's quality and price:
- Cut affects how sparkly the diamond looks.
- Colour grades how white or yellow it appears.
- Clarity measures tiny marks inside the stone.
- Carat indicates how much it weighs.
The metal band is the combining piece which holds your diamond and setting in place on your finger. You can choose from platinum, white gold, yellow gold and rose gold and many tend to opt for a band colour which suits their skin tone.
